Happy December! I love December because it means cookie baking season is officially here! Yahoo! I plan on spending most of the month in my kitchen, covered in flour, butter, sugar, and chocolate. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

  17. I used to always make my chocolate chip cookies with a package of vanilla pudding then I stupidly thought that wasn’t gourmet enough and went searching for the perfect recipe. Thanks for the reminder…if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!!!! I am going to make these tonight!!!

  22. I am so excited to bake holiday cookies this year thanks to you, Maria! These recipes look out of this world! I’m curious though, can all of your cookie recipes above be made ahead and frozen for a certain amount of time? Or, are there certain recipes that freeze better than others?

    1. Most of them freeze well. If the cookies have a glaze or frosting, wait to frost. Pull the cookies out of the freezer and let them defrost and then glaze or frost. If you have specific questions, please let me know! Thanks!

    1. The brown butter salted caramel snickerdoodles are really popular! I love the soft gingersnaps with white chocolate and the toasted coconut, toffee, chocolate chip cookies! The peppermint patty cookies are fun too! I love them all:)

  38. Do you happen to have a recipe you like for candy cane cookies? I’ve been using the one from my ancient Betty Crocker Cooky Book forever. The taste is amazing, but the dough is difficult to work with – splits while rolling.
